Your donation is eligible for a tax credit. In 2024, the contribution limit to registered provincial political parties in Ontario is $3,375. The amount of your tax credit depends on how much you give.

The maximum donation allowed by Elections Ontario is $3,375 per donor per year to each of the Party and a riding (or spread across ridings) for a maximum of $6,750 in provincial political donations per donor per year. In an election year, there is an additional $3,375 in donations allowed in total to a candidates (or spread across candidates).
